About Block Fit
Block Fit is the puzzle that looks like Tetris and plays nothing like it. You are given three shapes, you place them anywhere on a 10×10 grid, and any row or column you complete clears. Nothing falls, there is no clock, and you can think for as long as you like — which sounds easy until you realise there is no way to get rid of a shape you cannot place. The game ends the moment none of your three pieces fits anywhere, and by then the mistake that killed you was probably four moves ago. Good players leave the middle open and clear from the edges; great players count what the next three pieces could possibly be before committing to the first one. Clearing two lines at once is worth far more than clearing them one at a time, so the real skill is setting up a board where one square finishes three rows. Quick to learn, extremely hard to stop.

Questions
How do you get better at block puzzle games?
Keep the centre of the grid empty and build from the edges inward. The shape that ends most games is the 3×3 square, and the only place it ever fits is an untouched middle. Clear rows nearest the edges first, and never take a clear that opens a hole you cannot reach.
When does the game end?
When none of the three shapes you are holding can be placed anywhere on the grid. There is no timer and no falling piece, so every loss is the result of a placement, not of running out of time.
How does scoring work?
Every square you place is worth a point, every line you clear is worth ten times its length, and clearing more than one line with a single placement multiplies the lot. A double clear is worth roughly three times two single clears.
